I am an absolute picnic fanatic! It all started a few years ago with my romantic husband (then boyfriend) taking me on weekend picnics to Deer Park, in Vredehoek, Cape Town. We would spend the day, in nature, drinking bubbly, dreamily staring into each other's eyes, forgetting about our daily stresses and dream about our future together. 6 Years have passed and we have 100's if not 1000's of picnics under the belt, had a beautiful picnic wedding, opened a picnic company called Dial-a-Picnic, have brought many memorable picnics to people and we hope for a future filled with many more picnics.
This blog is all about my picnic experiences, from sourcing for new delicious items to include in our picnics, to cool picnic gadgets, awesome recipes and beautiful picnic venues.

The other thing is quality of life; if you have a place where you can go and have a picnic with your family, it doesn't matter if it's a recession or not, you can include that in your quality of life. Jim Fowler
